Dimetrodon was a type of synapsid , and like Edaphosaurus, It was a pelycasaur.
Facts[]
Dimetrodon looked like Edaphosaurus but it was a carnivore. Ironically, it attacked its twin. Although dangerous, they were about the same size as an adult edaphosaurus. Dimetrodon, is commonly mistaken as a dinosaur, even though it, like Edaphosaurus was more related to mammals today than the dinosaurs. It is also, the most famous pelycasaur. It was about 10 feet long and the first reptile super-predator.
