Brachiosaurus

Brachiosaurus was a giant sauropod that lived during the late Jurassic period.

Facts

Brachiosaurus was 80 feet long and was larger than the other famous diplodocus. Its name means arm lizard and it looked like a giant girrafe, except a reptile, of course. It was once thought to be the largest dinosaur that ever lived, but scientists know now, that it wasn't. It is now named something different, girraffititan, which means, girrafe giant.

In Other Media

It appeared briefly during the Walking With Dinosaur: episode 2, Time of the Titans. It was shown intimadating a trio of juvenile Diplodocus.
